freecover from Law Answers comes offers up to £100,000 of free legal expense protection and is provided as a free service to our membership.
It covers any road accident case of whatever severity irrespective of whether the claim is damage-only (involves no injury) or whether there is a personal injury incurred in yours or any other vehicle.
We offer professional liability evidence-gathering assistance from the accident scene or after. We work for you, not your motor insurer, seeking to protect your no claims bonus and defend you against incurring policy excesses.
Our legal team offer detailed legal advice and guidance to your benefit. We're on your side, not your insurer's as your interests are not necessarily the same as theirs. We will always advise you to your best advantage.

Can I have more than one legal expense policy?
Yes, and if you do have an accident you can choose which one to use, irrespective of the date either policy started.
Should I cancel my existing policy?
No, because you are unlikely to get a refund. When you come to renew you car insurance check carefully the benefits of any Legal Expense policy and compare it with the services freecover offers.. Although we intend to broaden it’s scope, freecover is currently restricted to motor accident claims.
How long does the freecover policy last?
The policy lasts for twelve months and renews automatically at the end of this period.
You say it is free but will I ever be charged?
No, freecover is just that. We will never charge you for your legal protection.
How does it work?
Although your protection is free, should you ever need to claim there is a £300 excess payable by your solicitor to Law Answers. Law Society rules mean they must absorb this as a business cost and are not permitted to charge you in any way.
How does freecover make Law Answers money
We obviously benefit from the £300 excess that your solicitor pays us to handle your case.
