Accident took place but third party insurer is doing nothing about my claim: what next?
Back in October a car driver performed a U turn which caused me to crash my motorcycle. The driver's insurance company were written to on Dec 19th with a claim for liability. Four and a half months later their insured has not responded. What is my legal position now? What should I do next?
You need to set out all your losses in a letter which threatens to issue proceedings. It is not unusual to be ignored in this way and a solicitor's letter will often do the trick to get things moving.
