Am I responsible paying for a friend getting parking tickets on my vehicle?
I lent my car to a friend, they ran up 4 parking tickets. Am I responsible for paying these? I have been threatened with a removal bailiff coming to my house to collect my belongings if not paid before 12pm today.
Yes you are deemed responsible for parking tickets on the vehicle and must recover the money from him. You should attempt to contact the bailiff and offer a payment plan as a visit can be charged for. Most bailiffs will cut a deal in such circumstances.
