I would like to have contact with my daughter but I have no way of finding out where she is living. What should I do?
I want to be in contact with my daughter after her mother stopped me from seeing her at the age of six months. She is now three but I have no way of finding out where she lives or how to contact her. What should I do?
An application can be made to the Court for a Contact Order. If you have no idea where your daughter is, it may be possible for the Court to order an Agency, such as the Benefits Agency, to disclose her address to the Court. We can put you in touch with a firm of Solicitors, if you would like us to make this referral please e-mail.
